A vile rapist told a woman to "shush" before forcing himself on her after a birthday night out. The woman was staying in a hotel in Hull after going out with pals to celebrate her birthday.

Aaron Robinson, 33, of no fixed address, was also staying at the hotel and was using cocaine on the night of the rape. Hull Crown Court heard how Robinson got into the woman's bed and started to touch her.

She told him to "Get the f*** off" and made it clear she didn't consent to having sex with him, but he said, "Come on, come on", trying to kiss her.

Stephen Robinson, prosecuting, said: "She didn't want to have sex with him. She could not be any clearer that she did not want to have sex."

Despite the woman not consenting, the defendant got on top of her to which she said, "Get off". He told her to "shush" before raping her, according to the Hull Daily Mail.

The same publication reports the woman told a friend what had happened the next morning and reported it to the police on June 2, 2023.

Robinson was arrested two days later. He initially denied raping the woman, but changed his plea to guilty after the court case began.

After changing his plea, the case was adjourned so pre-sentence reports on him could be prepared.

He is due to be sentenced at Grimsby Crown Court on December 11. A second charge of rape, which Robinson denied, will lie on file. He remains in custody.
