McLaren's battle royale

Lewis Hamilton’s victory in Abu Dhabi on Sunday means he now has three victories this term – the same as Jenson Button.

Button’s third place at the Yas Marina circuit meant he will finish as the top man at McLaren – the first time in his career that Hamilton has been beaten by a team-mate in a single-seater – and he will want the last word.

Whitmarsh said: “Both of them will fancy their chances of winning in Brazil.”
