Yellowstone: Season 5 of US drama teased in new trailer
Rip Wheeler (played by Cole Hauser) and Beth Dutton’s (Kelly Reilly) love story was explored further during Yellowstone’s double-pill premiere on the Paramount Network thanks to the return of flashbacks. This time, viewers got to see how young Rip (Kyle Red Silverstein) and young Beth (Kylie Rogers) headed on their first date and, inevitably, it was far from plain sailing. However, it also gave fans a chance to see some of their bunkhouse favourites from yesteryear, including young Lloyd (Forrest Smith).

Young Lloyd appeared in the flashback during the double bill to offer some wise words of advice for young Rip as he prepared himself for his date with young Beth.
“Not one good thing happens in town, Rip. Not one good thing,” Lloyd told him as he sat in his spot at the bunkhouse table.
The words would prove to be correct as Rip and Beth’s date fell off the rails rather quickly, but it was the resemblance young Lloyd shared with his older self which had fans talking.
Now, Lloyd star Forrie J Smith has taken to Instagram to reveal there’s a pretty jaw-dropping reason why - and it isn’t CGI or makeup.

Forrie shared an article on Instagram which confirmed young Lloyd star Forrest is actually his son.
“Just in case you didn't know this…” he wrote alongside a smiley-faced emoji.
Forrie went on to thank Taylor Sheridan, Yellowstone’s showrunner, for giving his son the opportunity to star.
While Forrest’s cameo certainly caught the eye for his striking similarity to Forrie, it isn’t actually his first stint on the Paramount drama.
Back in season two, episode five, titled Touching your Enemy, Forrest made his first foray into the bunkhouse for another flashback sequence.
