Meghan Markle has shared an emotional update on her Instagram alongside a video of her daughter, Princess Lilibet, 5. The Duchess of Sussex is clearly in the mood for reflecting today as she acknowledges the journey she has been on since launching her As Ever brand.
In a sweet video reel, Meghan has put together some of her favorite videos and photographs of her "entrepreneurial spirit", which she says has been there since childhood. As well as including clips of herself at work and photographs of herself as a child, she has also shared an adorable video of her daughter, Princess Lilibet.
In the video, the mother and daughter seem to be making some kind of dish together. Meghan can be heard asking her daughter what she thinks of what she has made. Lilibet, stirring what appears to be some kind of spread in a bowl, tells her mum: "I think it's beautiful."
Only some of Lilibet's face can be seen. This is not the only time the five-year-old appears in the clip, with the young princess making another appearance in a beekeeper suit when Meghan shows her the honey the bees have produced.
In a long message along with the video, Meghan wrote: "When I was about eight years old I started my own business making handmade scrunchies I sewed on my grandmother’s Singer sewing machine and sold for $1 a piece. I sold Girl Scout cookies, had lemonade stands, worked in a frozen yogurt shop and had countless other jobs. My entrepreneurial spirit was always there.
"As I shared years ago on The Tig (PS, love you ladies @thetiglets): “Behind every successful woman is herself” - and that’s true… but there’s more: a community of love, a squad of support, an amazing team. As I pinch myself looking at how this brand has grown, and as we introduce our holiday collection, I feel very proud, and grateful.
"A huge thanks to my team at @aseverofficial. So proud of what we are creating together. Thanks for helping bring this vision to life."
Meghan seems to show gratitude towards her mum Doria in the video, sharing photographs of the pair together. Prince Harry also appears in one of the clips, looking on at his wife proudly as she looks at her As Ever products.
This video by Meghan comes as the duchess launches her As Ever holiday products. This includes an Advent calendar costing around £112.
It is believed that a full holiday collection is on the way. The As Ever products are still not available to UK customers, despite Meghan now living in Britain.
The duchess and her husband, Prince Harry, alongside their children, moved back to Britain in August for the first time since 2020. It is believed they live in a home outside London.
While Meghan has been seen out and about, she has yet to make any official public engagements.
