BBC Strictly's Katya Jones takes public swipe at Wynne Evans after 'grope' scandal
Strictly Come Dancing pro Katya Jones fired back after she was branded "ridiculous" by her dance partner, Go Compare voice Wynne Evans.

Strictly's Katya Jones and Wynne Evans tearfully apologised after the awkward incidents between them which were caught on camera during the BBC show.
Now, following on from the "grope" scandal, which saw Katya firmly remove his hand from around her waist as they discussed their performance with the judges, have now attracted public attention again. This time, Katya was getting a piggyback ride from her partner as the Welshman attempted to scale a mountain ahead of their latest rehearsals.
The banter between them revved up again, as he playfully scolded her for the chunky heeled boots she was wearing for the occasion. "I’ve got to carry her up a mountain as she’s brought these ridiculous London shoes," the operatic singer groaned in mock indignation.
He then quizzed her: "Do you know where we’re going?” only for Katya to cheekily reply: “To get a bacon roll!” In reply to his retort about carrying her up the mountain, she shot back: “Only fair, since I’ve been carrying you around the dance floor all week!!”
The Instagram Stories footage, which showed the pair grinning broadly, comes after the pair confirmed that the much-publicised "groping" incident was a private joke between the two of them. They reiterated that they have a strong friendship, which viewers saw during their hiking video.

One follower took to the social media app to offer support and encouragement, writing: "Wynne and Katya seem to enjoy each other's friendship and the only people who were affected by this hyped up story were Wynne and Katya.
"Sick of all you dramatic people wanting attention. Done, dusted and all over now!!”
A second chimed in: "Amazing to see you both having fun."
Others went on the warpath against trolls whom they accused of stirring the pot, after one follower bluntly stated: "Don't buy it, sorry."

Another insisted: “People are easily fooled, she’s hating every second of this."
However, Wynne addressed the previous incidents on his BBC Radio Wales show recently, telling the nation that her removing his hand from her waist and refusing to join in with the high five he tried to give her were an "inside joke".
The tearful star of the dancefloor revealed he was "absolutely heartbroken" by how a joke Katya had found hilarious seemed to have been misinterpreted by some members of the public.
"Katya's explained that it was a joke. She wasn't offended in the least. She doesn't feel uncomfortable," he explained.
He added that he didn't know why he was compelled to apologise, as he felt "like I've not done anything [wrong]."
